  What is a Wellness Coach?
A Wellness Coach such as myself is a trained health professional who focuses on guiding clients to enhance their lifestyles and improve their mental and physical health and fitness. We can coach individuals one-on-one, or may work for organizations such as hospitals, fitness centers and various corporations. Wellness Coaches also may offer corporate coaching options, where we are paid by a corporation to have one-on-one or group coaching sessions with the corporation's employees, usually held during the employee's break times.

What exactly is Wellness?
Wellness is the integration of Mind, Body and Spirit.

I’m Kit Ferguson (Coach Kit). I’m a native of Greensboro, N.C., married to my best friend, Hilton Ferguson and I’m the mother of five beautiful children (to include a set of triplet girls). My husband and I are the owners of Full Time Fitness, LLC, the Triad’s premier fitness company.

I am a graduate of Liberty University as well as East Carolina University. I’ve obtained a Masters in Professional Counseling and I’m licensed as a Clinical Addiction Specialist. I received my certification as a Wellness Coach from The Spencer Institute. I’ve worked as a counselor in many settings (mental health and substance abuse) for many years and enjoy working in the helping profession. Wellness Coaching came naturally to me after running a fitness company and seeing the struggles many clients faced to maintain a healthy lifestyle. A lack of motivation, knowledge, discipline and even support has defeated so many on their journey to being well. As a Coach I am transparent and truthful with my clients. It is my desire to support and guide you towards a healthier, happier life. I’m here to assist you with goal setting and overcoming obstacles on your journey to optimal wellness. Whether it is weight loss or exercise regimens, dietary needs, stress management, health maintenance, disease prevention, motivation, mental and emotional health or spiritual guidance that you need help with, I’m here for you.
